Who can use the SDZG Library?
We are a private library, open to San Diego Zoo Global staff, volunteers, and affiliates. Researchers associated with an accredited academic institution or conservation organization may request access. Our website is open to the public, but the Library's electronic subscriptions and databases are restricted to staff, volunteers, and affiliates.
Where is the Library?
We're located on the 2nd floor of the Beckman Center, next door to the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in Escondido, CA.
When is the Library open?
Our standard hours are M-F 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. We occasionally close for a meeting, so please call in advance to confirm (760-747-8702 x5736).
Access. Who can use the SDZG Library website? Can I access it from my home computer?
The Library's website is publicly available on any computer. Certain databases and journal subscriptions are limited to staff use. Access to those is automatically available on any SDZG networked computer. For offsite staff access, please contact us.
